About us

Polymaker is a global developer and manufacturer of high-performance materials, mainly filaments for additive manufacturing. Founded in 2012, we focus on innovation, continues making our materials suitable for real applicational use.

With research, manufacturing, and distribution operations across Asia, Europe, and North America, Polymaker supports professionals worldwide who are transforming digital designs into real-world solutions.

Polymaker @ OTWorld: we will present our latest TPUs and other flexible materials including Foaming TPU, TPU 95A High speed, TPU-2000 95 A (pellets), and specialized materials such as TPEE-90A and BL-200 95A. Come join us!

Why Polymaker Materials Are Different

We develop advanced 3D printing polymers designed for strength, durability, and real-world use, not just prototyping.

  • High strength-to-weight ratio and foaming and flexibility options
  • Excellent layer adhesion, reliable load-bearing parts
  • Skin-safe certified products
  • Printability on common 3D printers used in labs

BL-200 Real Case: Personalized Pediatric Orthotic Solution

After surgery to correct congenital torticollis, a 7-year-old boy continued to return to an upward/rotated head posture. Standard cervical collars did not address his specific needs and were poorly tolerated.

Using 3D scanning and a full digital workflow, a custom head-neck fixator was designed in the corrected neutral position and printed with Polymaker BL200, a lightweight, skin-friendly, slightly flexible material ideal for pediatric use.

From scan to delivery, the device was completed in just 7 days, enabling early fitting and rehabilitation. The patient tolerated the fixator well and is now actively progressing in physiotherapy with improved head alignment.

Improving posture after torticollis surgery in 7 days, with a custom 3D-printed fixator

Key outcomes

✔ Patient-specific fit and comfort
✔ Rapid turnaround (7 days)
✔ Improved posture retraining
✔ High tolerance in pediatric use

Enabling Patient-Specific Devices

In the orthotics and prosthetics field, additive manufacturing enables clinicians and technicians to produce custom, patient-specific devices faster and more efficiently than traditional fabrication methods. Polymaker’s materials are engineered to support this shift offering:

  • Easy to print materials for consistent results in clinical production environments
  • Engineering-grade polymers with strength, durability, and impact resistance
  • Flexible and composite materials suitable for braces, supports, sockets, and assistive components
  • Lightweight structures that help improve patient comfort and mobility

By combining material science with additive manufacturing expertise, Polymaker helps O&P professionals move from traditional molding processes toward digitally driven, personalized manufacturing.

From Prototyping to Functional End-Use Parts

Polymaker’s expanding portfolio includes materials designed for both rapid prototyping and end-use medical components, enabling labs and clinics to iterate quickly and produce functional devices when needed. Polymaker’s engineering materials and composite filaments allow the creation of strong, lightweight structures suited for demanding application

From patient scan to finished device in hours, not days

1. 3D scan patient limb > 2. Design in CAD software > 3. Print with Polymaker materials > 4. Minimal post-processing > 5. Fit to patient

Reduce turnaround time. Increase patient comfort. Improve lab efficiency.
